Covid-19 has ravaged the country and state. At such a time, you people have performed exceedingly well in our fight against the Coronavirus. However, we have a long way to go before it's over. Therefore, we take this opportunity to write to you on a matter of great urgency.

 

As we battle Covid-19, it's quite evident that education is one of the most severely affected areas. It is understandable that our education system was made for offline education and switching over to online education overnight is not going to be easy.

In order to make the transition to online education smooth and effective, Station-e has devised a unique and innovative model of Smart Class – cum Skills Lab customized for effective delivery of online education in these difficult times. This Lab consists of all the advanced features of a Smart Class. It can take online learning to the next level with its ease of use and customized attributes. It can be used for any number of different purposes such as Webinars, Video Conferencing or recording and streaming of lectures. Since the lab comes with an acoustic ambience, it lends itself beautifully to recording of lectures. In other words, students will not have to bear any unnecessary background noise and the sound quality will be excellent. Such a lab can transform e-learning and ensure that students can learn the subjects and skills in a fruitful manner.

 

As the title suggests, the Lab doubles up as a Smart Class and Skills Lab. Essentially, education is about imparting skills which can help students become employable. Particularly in Covid times, it's even more pressing that we carry out proper skills development of students so that they can acquire a suitable job and sustain themselves and their families. Therefore, we have evolved highly relevant and industry-centric modules of Skills training which can make students not just industry-ready but also readily employable. Skills such as Communication Proficiency in English, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Team Work, Goal Setting and Coordination are delivered using next generation technology in this acoustic lab set up. The distinguishing feature of delivery is the hands-on nature of the modules. Each module is nothing but simulation of real-life situations and learning from doing. This helps the learners imbibe the skills and retain them for longer duration.

As we battle against the faceless enemy of humanity, we need to ensure that students continue to learn and internalize new skills. For this, we propose setting up such Smart Class cum Skills Lab at your campus. Every institute in the State needs it. We propose that we provide such a tech-enabled learning ambience for every student.
